The project, to be delivered by 1835 Property and Marlborough Capital, and fully supported by Trinity Church, is a $400 million development that will transform the current car park behind Adelaide’s oldest church into the city’s largest purpose-built student accommodation. Rising 33 storeys, the building will offer 1002 rooms in a mix of studios, shared apartments, and premium living spaces.

But this isn’t just about building height or bed numbers, it’s about creating a place students will love to call home. Just steps from the new Adelaide University and surrounded by the city’s cultural, transport and biomedical hubs, 88 North Terrace will become a buzzing hub of student life.

Inside, future residents will enjoy best-in-class features including a cinema, 24/7 gym, yoga studio, study zones, social lounges, café, communal kitchens and dining areas, plus a beautifully landscaped public piazza.

The project will also breathe new life into the wider site, delivering major heritage upgrades and new ministry and administration spaces for Trinity Church. We are excited to deliver this opportunity for the Church to restore and reimagine a place of deep significance, while stepping confidently into Adelaide’s future.

Construction will support over 400 jobs and, once complete in April 2028, will contribute to the ongoing revitalisation of the city’s west end.
